ENNHRI works closely with other networks of national bodies working on human rights throughout Europe, in order to share information, ensure complementarity of action and maximise impacts.
Also, as ENNHRI’s membership overlaps with those of several other networks, ENNHRI communicates with other networks’ Secretariats to help avoid unnecessary duplication.
ENNHRI collaborates with the following networks:
- European Network of Equality bodies (Equinet)
Equinet, the European Network of Equality Bodies, brings together 45 organizations from 33 European countries, which are empowered to counteract discrimination as national equality bodies across the range of grounds including age, disability, gender, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief, and sexual orientation.
- European Network of Ombudsmen
The European Network of Ombudsmen includes the national and regional ombudsmen and similar bodies of the Member States of the European Union, the candidate countries for EU membership, and other European Economic Area countries, as well as the European Ombudsman and the Committee on Petitions of the European Parliament.
- International Ombudsman Institute (IOI)
The global organisation for the cooperation of independent Ombudsman institutions from more than 90 countries worldwide.
